It’s the same with a personal problem, you keep thinking and focussing on the problem, until it grows so large it seems impossible to resolve. Rather than giving personal issues, fears and behaviours all your attention, focus more on the solution. If you went into a large warehouse at night with only a torch, you would only be able to see one or two items. Turn the building lights on, and then you would realise its full of many other things. Stop shining your torch on the problem and start imagining how good life will be when you have the solution. Living After Loss ‘Living A er Loss’ is a group that is open to all, and a free Bereavement Support Group provided in Partnership with the Red and Green Practice, Hythe and Black eld Patient Participation Group, Waterside Health Centre. Going along is an opportunity to meet others who have experienced loss, to talk and share in a safe environment. e team, led by Dot Croall, will be on hand to listen, and support you, and provide information on useful resources. Tea, co ee and snacks will be provided, and you are welcome to come and go at any time that suits you. Join them on the 2nd Monday of the month from 2pm to 4pm, at the Lighthouse Community Church, A326, Hardley Green. Visitors to the Café will discover a warm welcome and a supportive environment for re ection and conversation; a place to nd mutual support and encouragement. e kettle is always on with tea, co ee and a variety of cakes (including a gluten-free option) served by a friendly team of volunteers.
