Ellis Ferguson from Langley set up her social media management business, In nite Socials, a er being inspired by a video she had seen on the platform TikTok of a lady talking about her job as a social media manager and how you can work for yourself. Ellis began researching the role and learning all about social media and professionally running accounts and decided to set up her own business o ering social media management and advice in January 2021. At the time she was in year 10 at Noadswood School in Dibden Purlieu studying for her GCSE’s, which she passed earlier this year with ying colours! Ellis comments: “I found running my business alongside my GCSEs challenging. It was all about prioritising and managing my workload and what realistically I could get done. I definitely found I had to watch how stressed I was getting and make sure I had down time to unwind to ensure I didn’t burn myself out. “ Not resting on her laurels, Ellis has recently started am still working with my very first client and in May I signed my first international client from America. I have also been working with lots of other businesses across the UK on short term projects all of which have been very interesting and great experiences, which I feel lucky to have been involved in.” To nd out more about In nite Socials visit: www. instagram.com/in nitesocials Ellis Ferguson WHY WE SING by Geraldine of The Beaulieu Bank Notes studying business and media at Barton Pevril College and is looking to grow and expand her business taking on more clients.
