On Thursday 1st December for a talk by J & B Sutton titled ‘Life e Hythe Huddle is continuing to meet on the rst Wednesday of every month at Cornerstone URC Church, New Road, Hythe. It is always a very friendly and happy time for people with dementia and their carers. ey don’t talk about the problems of dementia, they o er a place of respite where you can have a chat and a cuppa, make friends and have some fun together. Over the last few months they have had a very successful games a ernoon, and a sing along performance by pianist and professional musician Kirsty Newbury of old songs that they know and love. Takes them down memory lane! e next meeting is on Wednesday 2nd November for entertainment with singer Retro Rita. On Wednesday 7th December will be their Christmas party, with food and fun for all. e lovely Hythe Primary school choir will be singing a selection of Christmas songs for them. e Hythe Huddle is free to attend for anyone with dementia and their carer.
