Zoologist, conservationist, photographer and TV presenter, Megan McCubbin was Awards Host for the 2022 event, but was sadly taken ill with a bug just hours before. Much to the organisers and audience surprise and delight Megan’s stepfather and co-presenter of BBC2’s SpringWatch, AutumnWatch and WinterWatch, Chris Packham CBE stepped in to host the event on her behalf. Organisers of e Southern Sustainability Partnership told us: “We are enormous fans of the work Megan and her stepfather Chris undertake.
