Page 16 • The HERALD • 17th November 2022 v SAY YOU SAW IT IN THE HERALD v Waterside Network Group: Member Focus by Simon Chadwick Allow me to introduce you to Mark Chapman of local business Klic-Key. e ‘Klic’ of Klic-Key stands for Keys Locked In Car, although it’s as likely to be lost keys that Klic-Key have to deal with. Mark assists people across Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire who have, for some reason or another, got themselves into car trouble. O ering a 24-hour emergency vehicle locksmith service, KlicKey regularly assist the AA, RAC and Green Flag in helping their members gain access to their cars in a non-destructive manner. Klic-Key is an independent company with over 30 years’ experience in the motor trade. It doesn’t have the overheads of the national companies so the savings are passed on to you. Mark is able to travel to wherever you are, whenever you need him. But there’s more to Klic-Key than that. Mark can professionally t dashcams on a separate circuit, and, for those vehicles where they’re not pre-installed, t head units for entertainment systems and upgrade your audio systems too. Bluetooth and handsfree kits are also part of the service. If you’re converting a van, or require light bars and work lamps tted, KlicKey can ensure it’s done safely and correctly, including the installation of a separate power source with split charger so you’re le with a full battery when it comes to starting. ere are two particular bugbears of Mark’s that all car owners should be aware of. Firstly, it’s ensuring you have a working spare key. If you don’t, Mark can make one for you. Secondly, it’s the peril of keyless ignition systems and those that wish to exploit them. Mark recommends, and can provide, Faraday pouches to shield your key’s signals from any ne’erdowells out there. So, for a friendly, polite and professional service, talk to Mark at Klic-Key using the contact details in the featured member box, adjacent.
