Moors Manor care home hosted a variety of activities throughout the day to raise funds for YMCA Sleep Easy, including serving an absolutely delicious bu et prepared by head chef Mustapha Akab, a ra e, a play golf, a pony visit, and a variety of stalls from di erent local businesses. ere was live enternainment by Amie Knight and Ferndown Strummers, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who went to the event. For the rst time since opening in 2021, the home was able to hold its annual Autumn Fayre and the sta and residents were delighted to see di erent generations having fun together again. Beryl a resident at Moors Manor, said, “I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I could see from my bedroom the excitement the day before when everyone was setting up, it was just lovely to see. Staff did a great job, not just on the day, but organising the event and getting everyone together. It is so wonderful to be able to have events like this again.” General Manager, Jenna May, commented: “Staff at Moors Manor care home are dedicated to making sure that the home is a hub of the local community, and this event, along with all their hard work, has definitely paid off. It was a resounding success!” Sally-Ann Arnold, Activity Co-ordinator, added: “We just want to say a big thank you to everyone involved from the stall holders to everyone that came along to support us. All welcome. There will be no meeting of the Hythe Huddle in January. e next meeting will be on 1st February 2023 at 2pm.
