Look out for the Festive Lodge and then enter a magical world of twinkling trees, snow, sparkling lights, and festive decorations. It’s time to get excited about Christmas as you walk through e Lodge, past the peaceful Nativity scene, and then on to Father Christmas himself who will be sat in his rocking chair resting before his big day. He will be waiting to give the children a jolly wave and an extra special “Ho-ho-ho”. e rest of the farm is open as normal, so children and adults alike can meet chicks, guinea pigs, and rabbits in the Animal Encounter Barn. e goat kids and calves will be waiting to meet the visiting children and will want to be bottle-fed their milk while they share the children’s Christmas excitement. ere are lots of other animals such as horses, alpacas and chickens to see as well. Children can run o their energy in the playtime areas which include go-karts, mini tractors, crazy golf, the diggers, and indoor play in the Piglets Play Barn. Don’t miss the Farm Shop which is stocked with a wide range of delicious local produce and festive fare. Why not pick up a hamper for a wonderful Christmas gi , or visit the Gi Shop which has lots of lovely toys, books and so animals to purchase. A Longdown Activity Farm 2023 season ticket is also a great Christmas present idea. As a gift is not given, there is no additional charge to enter The Festive Lodge or to meet Father Christmas. The Farm will be open from 10am to 4.30pm every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday throughout December, plusTuesday20thDecember,Wednesday 21st December, Thursday 22nd December, and Friday 23rd December. All bookings must be made online: www.longdownfarm.co.uk Wave to Father Christmas in the Festive Lodge Christmas at the Fire Brigade Museum On Friday 9th December, at Mottisfont Village Hall in Mottisfont, Romsey SO51 0LX, 7pm for 7.30pm, Beggars Belief, a local group, will be at the hall for a Christmas Folk Concert. ere will be songs old and new, borrowed and blue (not too blue!) with light-hearted moments and the occasional thoughtprovoking lyric. ere will also be two new Christmas songs composed by the group.
