Christmas songs will start at 5.30pm with compere Kim G leading the singing joined by the Hampshire Police Wellbeing Choir. At 6.30pm Santa will be rescued by Hampshire and IOW Fire and Rescue Service. ere will also be children’s rides, doughnuts, roast chestnuts and mulled wine stands as well as a Christmas Character Hunt in e Hundred and Santa will be in his grotto at Bradbeers. Festival of the Nativity You are invited to explore the Christmas story through a Festival of e Nativity at e Gospel Church on Long Lane in Marchwood (SO40 4WR). ere will be a display of over 60 nativity scenes and models from around the world, a giant nativity scene and photo booth, cra and activities for children and a café serving festive refreshments. EASY TRANSPORT TO A CHRISTMAS CONCERT e concert is on Saturday 10th December at 7.30pm in Chandler’s Ford Methodist Church so to go by minibus makes it easy to get there. Music in Winter with Ann Turner and Friends On Saturday 10th December, Ann Turner and Friends will be presenting a concert entitled ‘Music in Winter’ in St Andrew’s Centre Hall at 7.30pm. It will be in aid of the Honeypot Children’s Charity which provides support to children between 5 and 12 who act as young Carers. e concert will consist of a variety of musical styles including some pieces from musical theatre and arrangements of folk songs it will also give you a chance for you to join in! e items will include piano duets and vocal music in the form of solos and ensembles. You will also be able to hear more about the charity during the evening. ere is no charge or tickets for the concert but there will be a retiring collection which will be used totally in support of the charity. Why not go along to an entertaining evening and support a very worthwhile cause.
