MUSIC IN ROMSEY e next concert in Romsey Abbey takes place on Saturday 10th December, Romsey Youth Choir, 7.30pm. Nativity Parade in Hythe Waterside Churches Together A Nativity Parade around Hythe will take place on Saturday 10th December. e annual tradition, which started during the pandemic, uses ag puppets depicting the Christmas story. e parade will start at Cornerstone Hythe URC and end up outside Waitrose where there will be Carols and the story of the Nativity will be told. 10.45am Nativity gures process from Cornerstone Hythe URC, and around the village. 11am Carol singing and readings outside Waitrose. Join them and enjoy the Christmas spirit! e annual Totton Santa Run, organised by the 5th Testwood Scouts, is set to take place on Sunday 11th December at 9am with 2.5km and 5km routes available this year. Entry is £14 for adults and £7 for under 12s with family deals available. ose tackling the Serious Santas 5km run only pay £1 extra. All runners get a Santa suit as part of the fee and a medal at the end of the run. Runners can book a place up until 3pm on Saturday 10th December. e Santa run will be followed by the Finish Line Fayre from 9.30am-12.30pm in e Empire Hall which will be packed with stalls from local traders and cra ers, music, food and a ra e. All monies raised every year go back into supporting the young people at 5th Testwood Scout Group to give them exciting opportunities and experiences.
