He has also starred in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’, which he won in 2003. His cheerful personality has made him a very popular presenter and his one-man shows are not to be missed. An Evening with Phil Tufnell ‘An Evening With Phil Tufnell’ is taking place on Thursday 30th March, at the Empire Hall in Totton in aid of e Wessex Kidney Patients Association (WKPA). e WKPA is a registered charity that provides nancial help and support for people su ering with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and other associated kidney problems. ey need to raise much needed funds to help them cope with the increased demand on their services and it is hoped that this event will do just that. e WKPA was formed in 1974 and was established to promote the welfare of patients who attend Queen Alexandra hospital in Portsmouth, University Renal Paediatric unit in Southampton and nine satellite kidney dialysis units. It covers an area which includes most of Hampshire and extends into the county borders of Berkshire, Dorset, West Sussex and Wiltshire. e charitable work that they do can be anything from buying a microwave for a patient struggling nancially, to helping dialysis units purchase medical items.
