Mark from their Hythe O ce donned a festive red suit and white beard to play Father Christmas and visited the children at the end of their annual Christmas party, with each child receiving a gi . Mark commented: “I volunteered to be Father Christmas at Jack and Jill’s Preschool Christmas Party because Christmas is such a special time for children, all of us should do our bit to keep it magical.” Jack and Jill’s is a community run preschool based within Hythe Community Centre, o ering both funded and non-funded places for children aged 2+. At Romsey Cancer Support Centre, people are committed every day to guaranteeing emotional support, help and information to cancer patients and their families from all over Hampshire, and this includes having warm spaces to welcome them. Sarah Rowcli e from Romsey Cancer Support Centre comments: “Thank you so much to Screwfix for supporting this project which means that the centre will be much warmer this winter. Our clients, volunteers and staff are very grateful.” Claire Flory, the Screw x Foundation Manager says: “What Romsey Cancer Support Centre does is crucial for the local community. The much-needed funding was used to replace two large windows at the centre with double glazed units which will improve warmth and comfort for clients, volunteers, and staff. We are delighted to see that our donation has gone towards such an important project, for the benefit of those in need”.
