A partially completed hand tied bouquet comprising a selection of gold-sprayed dried material came rst. Melanie then added some fresh material including an unusual lisianthus, fern, green dianthus barbatus and orange roses. A really attractive alternative hand tied bouquet. A version of a small Christmas tree using blue spruce and various types of green foliage and placed in a glass container came next. Dried materials had been added including dyed blue wheat and pink nigella seed heads and pieces of wire threaded with pearls. Pink aqua roses, pale pink euphorbia and stems of red peppers completed this design. A large oblong container was used for this design depicting a winter scene. Foliage had been added including blue spruce, ivy and fern. Tall stems of silver birch together with teasels and ornithogalum gave height. Green dianthus barbatus and single owers of a white orchid were inserted to give impact lower in the design. A black urn was used for this more traditional design. Gold leaves, red birch twigs, grevillea and asymmetric and interpreted ice skating. Arching stems of dried silver acanthus provided the outline. White lisianthus and ivory Avalanche roses were added together with various dried and silvered material including artichoke heads and eryngium. An excellent demonstration with lots of di erent ideas for Christmas arrangements.
