ASK A PROFESSIONAL UK’S Biggest Ever Clean Air Mural to be Installed in Southampton A er three weeks and over 10,000 votes cast, the winning mural design has been revealed by FI Real Estate Management, the company behind the £3.5m transformation of Nelson Gate in Southampton into e Bulb. ree designs for the giant ‘clean air’ mural had been shortlisted - with FI Real Estate inviting the nation to vote for the striking artwork - which can now be revealed as Mural 2. e 1,005 sq m mural will be created by one of the most fascinating and proli c street artists of the 21st century, Nerone, using Graphenstone CO2 absorption paint. It is estimated that the annual amount of CO2 absorbed by e Bulb mural each year will be around 65kg per year - equivalent to three mature adult trees.
