Club President, Margaret Rowles, and Secretary, Vanessa Daley, took over ten bags of groceries to the Food Bank ahead of their busy Easter period. e Left to Right: Laura Holloway, Vanessa Daley, Margaret Rowles club has been a supporter of the Foodbank since 2020 when it was the club’s chosen charity of that year and continues to support it with regularly drop-o s. Over £10,000 raised for Gift Day! St Andrew’s Church in Dibden Purlieu recently raised over £10,000 through their Easter Gi Day, in aid of two local ministries - Waterside Foodbank and e Crossings - as well as their two international Partnerships with Hope Gardens and Rwanda. TABLE TOP SALES Every 2 weeks on a Tuesday morning from 9.30am to 12noon there’s a great Table Top Sale at Cornerstone Hythe URC in New Road. ere is always a great selection of Electricals, Jewellery, Collectables, Kitchenware, Glassware, Bags, Toys, Puzzles, Brica-brac and an extensive library of Paperback Books, CDs, and DVDs. All proceeds go to the Cornerstone Outreach Fund supporting mission and outreach locally, in the UK and overseas. e next sale will take place on Tuesday 16th May. Bramshott Hill Golf Club has recently started up a Junior Golf Club at Dibden Golf Centre. e club meets at 4.45pm every Wednesday and will continue throughout the summer. It is open to all juniors. No membership is needed. ey are also running a beginners ‘Girls Golf Rocks’ course from Saturday 13th May, at 10am, for 6 consecutive weeks - only £40 for coaching and ‘goodies’.
