Despite the conditions some good scores were returned. Division One: 1st Paul Wastell 41pts, 2nd Ian Blandford 40pts, 3rd Kevin Boot 39pts. Division Two: 1st: John Bailey 36pts, 2nd Ronald Gooding 35pts, 3rd Barry Walker 34pts. On ursday 20th April a team of eleven players from Bramshott Hill travelled to Bulbury Wood Golf Club for an inter club match. ere should have been twelve players but one Bramshott member had to cancel at the last minute due to personal problems. On the day they encountered some unusual weather, it was dry with bright sunshine for the whole day (most unusual of late). As they had only eleven players their captain, Mike Wells, volunteered to take on two of their players on his own. e match set o in good spirits on a course which was in excellent condition. Following the match, a meal was served in the clubhouse with players exchanging all the usual golf stories and plenty of banter, everyone agreed they had had an excellent day and look forward to the return match at Dibden on the 4th May. e nal result was a draw with each team winning three games.
