Outgoing President, David Saunders, gave thanks to the club for making his year in o ce such a special one and for all the hard work that had been put in by the members. He then passed his chain of o ce to incoming President, Jim Whitehouse. Before standing down, David announced two Paul Harris Fellowship (PHF) awards to Rotarians Les Sharpe and Michael Wilkinson, in appreciation of their substantial contributions and service to the club over the years. David presented them both with certi cates and badges. Club Archivist, Ian Aldous, presented David with a year book, which was full of information and newspaper cuttings of club achievements during his Presidential year. New President Jim Whitehouse said: “I very much look forward to my Presidential year and working closely with my fellow Rotarians to serve and support the local community. It promises to be a very exciting year”. SAVE THE DATE - MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA Waterside Cancer Support Centre will be holding a Music Extravaganza at Fawley British Legion, Black eld on Saturday 7th October. Featuring music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and a special appearance by the Dodgy Jammers, it promises to be a fun night for all.
