In division 2, Mike Broom scored 64 nett with 5 pars on his card just beating Mik Jamolowicz on countback. In division 1, Chris Hughes also scored nett 64 with a card that had 7 pars and a birdie. DRAGON BOATS TO RETURN TO HYTHE IN SEPTEMBER The Abby’s Heroes Dragon Boat Race will now take place in Hythe Marina on 9th September. ere will be around 10 teams taking to the water this year, competing in a number of races throughout the day. As well as the exciting races, there will be local food stalls available to keep you sustained for a fabulous day out for all the family. All proceeds from the day will go towards supporting children and young people diagnosed Last year’s Dragon Boat Race with cancer, and their families. Last year’s event raised over £12,000 for the Charity and they are hoping this year’s event will raise even more money.
