David McArthur MBE, New Forest Partnership Manager, said: “The New Forest has reduced year on year unemployment figures, across all age groups, due to events such as this, which bucks the national trend. Across our New Forest jobcentres, work coaches provide every jobseeker with tailored support, helping to build confidence and develop new skills, so breaking down the barriers for those re-entering the workforce. Part of this work involves working with fantastic local employers to support their recruitment needs.
