It was a lovely summer’s day. Music was provided by Burnt Toast with 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music, A Cappella Quartet, the Southern Gentlemen, plus Andrew Rance singing and on his keyboard. e Red Stags Morris from Southampton put on a display. e stalls included Lucie Mann, Aquaponics and accessories, Greetings cards by Frances Connaughton, e volunteers provided refreshments and homemade cakes, sold preserves and held a ra e. An enjoyable time was had by all, and a couple of people had even travelled from High Wycombe to go and see the garden. Haven Donation in Memory of Fred e family of June Denham have donated £180 to the Healthy Haven Garden in memory of June’s late brother Fred Raybould who died recently. ey are going to buy three new trees to replace their three dead commemoration of Fred. is is a lovely gesture by the family and they thank them for their contribution. ey will have somewhere peaceful and surrounded by nature to go and re ect on Fred. trees and a rose, Fragrant Cloud. ey intend to buy a Daikoku J a p a n e s e F l o w e r i n g Cherry, a Laburnum x waterer Vassi and a Betula pendula Royal Frost which will all be planted in the garden in the late Autumn, along with the rose and a plaque in June Denham
