It will again take place in the Lyndhurst Community Centre, this year on Saturday 2nd September, 10am to 4.30pm. ere are two halls full of exciting things to see and buy, all on the same level, so is suitable for visitors with mobility disabilities. In the main hall will be 41 tables with 24 dealers with a whole range of minerals, rocks, fossils, gems, jewellery, books, as well as a large stand with Fossil Preparation Tools, Supplies & Equipment. e small hall is primarily an exhibition area with Dinosaurs as this year’s theme. e Isle of Wight ‘Dinosaur Isle’s’ display will include their halfscale Neovenator dinosaur replica! e University of Southampton will be bringing material relating to the recent Spinosaur discoveries. Dorset will be represented by displays from the wonderful museum at Kimmeridge, e Etches Collection, and Dorset Geologists will have a display all about Dorset geology. In addition one of the Society’s members will have a superb collection of dinosaur related collectables. Admission is £1 for adults, with accompanied children under 14 years, and Junior Rockwatch members free. Refreshments are available throughout the day. SALVAGE MASTER e New Forest (East) Probus men’s Club meets at the Dibden Golf Club on the third Thursday of each month. e meeting starts at 10am, with a short business resume, followed by a talk with an invited speaker.
