We will be exhibiting in the café initially and hope to develop other projects as the year unfolds. We are already planning a full exhibition in August, details to follow. e visitors centre is a gem we are fortunate to have on our doorstep. If you haven’t been recently why not go along and see what’s happening. At our 26th June meeting we have been fortunate to secure Lyndsey Cole. A talented New Forest artist working in a variety of media, during the evening she will present A Response to a Landscape, in acrylic and mixed media, thinking of all those areas that we feel connected to. An exciting and thought provoking evening, meeting at the ree Score club, Totton at 7.30pm. Non-members still just £4, please do come along and join us for the evening or maybe consider becoming a member, just £25 for the year. We aim to keep our society a ordable for all so you can come enjoy Art with new friends. For more details of all the activities visit: www.tottonartsociety.org New Forest (East) Probus Club e New Forest (East) Probus Club held their 35th AGM at the Dibden Golf Club on ursday 16th May, where Committee members were con rmed for: President, Vice President, Secretary, Events Coordinator, and Speaker’s Secretary. President Henley noted that the President’s Lunch at the Rockingham Arms was enjoyed by the members. Future events planned for the Club include: a ernoon Tea at Otter Nurseries on Thursday 27th June and Morning Co ee at the Lavender Farm on Friday 26th July. e meeting concluded with an interesting talk by the outgoing Treasurer, Mike, on his experiences with steam locomotives, including driving one, during the 1950s in the Andover area.
