Donated by Paul Cheeter and Sharon Brady in loving memory of James Brady and distributed by Heartbeat. ese valuable life saving devices have been installed at Headway Southampton & West Wessex on Commercial Road, Totton who provide services to those with an acquired brain injury (ABI) and at the Snows Stadium complex home of AFC Totton football club. Free training has been organised at the Snows Stadium in the use of these lifesaving appliances, on Friday 13th September for members of the organisations who have received them and local community members. ere will be 2 sessions available at 10am to 11.30am and 11.45am to 1.15pm. Having access to train as many people in the local area in their use is equally important to provide better understanding in their use and instil confidence in case there is ever a need to use them. Thank you so much to Paul and Sharon.” Headway Southampton and West Wessex is a local independent charity, constituted in 1996 that provides support, advice, and rehabilitation services to adult acquired brain injury (ABI) survivors, their family, carers and friends. Services are provided across Southampton, Eastleigh, New Forest, Romsey, Winchester and more recently Salisbury and South Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight. AFC Totton in the Community has recently formed as a registered charity as the community side of AFC Totton Football Club. Its aim is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of football.
