DENT DYNAMICS PAINTLESS DENT REMOVAL CLASSIC CAR CLUB – ‘COOKING UP A TASTY TIME’ Austin A30/A35 Owners’ Club, Southampton and New Forest Group e two pictures shown refer back to last month’s talk by Bob Smith called ‘A Little Bit of is and a Little Bit of at’ about steam engines and classic lorries. e pictures were taken at various steam fairs, shows and rallies. On ursday 11th July, the club held its summer social evening with a BBQ. As members had a variety of dietary requirements they all brought their own food. Two BBQs were supplied by club members. One BBQ was reserved for gluten free food. It was good that partners of the members could join in and meet each other, some for the rst time. Members said they enjoyed the evening and felt it was a success. Some members came in their classic vehicles as it was a good excuse to drive and enjoy them. e club is always happy to welcome new members that are owners of any make of classic car, not forgetting those enthusiasts who appreciate them but don’t have one of their own, to come and meet the club members with a view to joining. Members have a range of classic vehicles enabling the club to include all enthusiasts. ey continue to enjoy the friendly, social atmosphere at the monthly meetings as well as the monthly cafe meet ups. Every evening meeting includes a ra e with many members leaving with a prize or two. e club holds many events throughout the year with speakers on various topics, picnics, quizzes, car meets, club drive days and an annual charity auction. Forthcoming Events: 8th August – Members’ Night and 12th September – Fish and Chip Supper Night. Why not drop in for a taster visit, a tea or coffee and share any of your classic car experiences with members? You will receive a warm welcome.
