Fortunately the really heavy rain held o until right at the end so most managed to get back to the clubhouse reasonably dry. Roy Nelson led Division 1 with 36 points, however it was Division 2’s Dave Stredder who emerged clear winner of the trophy with 41 points. Division 1: 1st Roy Nelson 36pts, 2nd Steve Duckett 35pts, 3rd Chris Bennett 34pts (back 9=19pts). Mike Broom and Chris Angell also had 34pts but with back 9 scores of 18 and 15 respectively. Division 2: 1st Dave Stredder 41pts, 2nd Mik Jarmolowicz 39pts, 3rd Rob Young 33pts. If so, 17th Port and Maritime Regiment RLC would like to welcome you to their monthly breakfast club which is open to all current and ex-military services, all ranks, all ages and families. e aim is to come together as an Armed Forces Family, catch up with friends, help social interaction and mental health, talk about current and past experience, support towards housing (SFA’s and social), resettlement support for civilian life, job networking and o er tness wellbeing advice. Go along and enjoy a full English Breakfast at a very small cost of £5 with unlimited FREE brews at Sgts Mess, 17RLC, McMullen Barracks, Cracknore Hard Lane, Marchwood SO40 4ZG on the fourth Saturday of the month between 10am and 12noon. e next two meet ups take place on Saturday 24th August and Saturday 28th September. ART IN THE PARK Enjoy a monthly, social, art session for your own wellbeing, meeting with like-minded people, exploring a di erent theme each month at Lepe Country Park. e next session is Friday 30th August, 10am–12moom, bring the medium you like to work in. e sessions will involve walking to di erent areas of the site, so sturdy shoes are recommended as well as dressing for the weather conditions.
