Although the rain held o for the a ernoon, the planned BBQ was moved inside and everyone enjoyed food and good company. Earlier in the year, Robert Barber of the Club had contacted Minstead Trust to say that they had been doing their usual fundraising during the year and that they had some money they wished to donate. Minstead Trust had been selected to bene t and would representatives from “Jason, Iesha and I had a lovely time at the BBQ, I was really pleased to go along, enjoy a burger and accept their very generous donation of £300. I said a few words, explaining how local community fundraising makes such a difference to our work, supporting people with learning disabilities in and around the New Forest, Hampshire and Dorset.” “Any local group, club, association or business, is very welcome to get in touch with Minstead Trust to find out more about our work, visit our site at Minstead Lodge or one of our enterprises such as Furzey Gardens or Hanger Farm Arts Centre, we are so grateful for local support and look forward to getting to know more of our community of supporters in the area” added Lesley Brooks.
