Enter the Haunted Barn at your peril from Saturday 26th October through to Sunday 3rd November 2024. Look out for the grimacing ghouls, scary skeletons, and wicked witches who dwell among the cobweb-strewn hay bales and blackened timbers of the dreaded Haunted Barn. Keep your eyes peeled and join in with the Pumpkin Quest. Ten rogue pumpkins have escaped from the Pumpkin Patch! Children will enjoy spotting the mischievous orange faces around the farm as they discover each naughty pumpkin in unexpected places. No prizes, just spookily good fun. Meet a real-life barn owl with e Creature Teachers who will be in the Haunted Barn along with some creeeepy creatures like spiders, millipedes, and cockroaches on the spooky day itself: Thursday 31st October. A hauntingly good opportunity to get up close (or not so close, if you prefer!) to some fascinating creatures. A er all the scary stu , calm down with our friendly farm animals. Join in when you want to with a full schedule of farm activities lasting all day, which includes bottle-feeding kid goats and calves, small animal handling in the Animal Encounter Barn, and feeding the ducks. Lots of playtime fun too with ride-on tractors, go-karts, the outdoor all-inclusive play area, and the indoor Piglets Play Barn. Don’t forget to stop o at the Farm Shop to buy your Halloween pumpkin as you leave. Longdown Activity Farm and the Farm Shop will be open daily, as usual, for the whole of half- term. ere is no extra charge for the Halloween event.
