Popular Art Exhibition Returns to Romsey Chilworth Art Group will be holding their annual Art & Cra exhibition at Romsey Town Hall from Tuesday 29th October until Saturday 2nd November, opening at 10am until 4pm each day. She achieved this feat on 7th October 1927. Shortly a erwards another woman claimed to have done the same but in a shorter time. She was shown to be lying, but Mercedes’s own achievement was called into question, forcing her into a repeat performance, the ‘vindication swim’ of the title.
