He is well known for his Michael Bublé experience shows as well as his Little Big Band. His passions – other than music, include family, long walks in the forest with his border collie, Summer and trips to the seaside. Liam has always had a love of poetry and rhyme and has always been keen to create and write children’s books. Liam’s ambition became a reality as his debut book hit the shelves back in December. ‘Timmy e Lonely Christmas Tree”. Amy Leonard the illustrator of the book is also from the New Forest and grew up surrounded by animals and nature. I have read this delightful book and was very impressed. It is a heart- warming tale suitable for children of all ages. It is colourful and characters are brought to life by the stunning illustrations. e book centres around Hugo, an extremely hungry horse, who lives at Bolton’s bench in Lyndhurst and is always on the lookout for families having a picnic so he can help himself to their goodies. e other horses tell him he is wrong to steal food, but will he listen? You will have to read the book to nd out what happens. Once again, I loved the story based in our local area. e illustrations bring the story to life and I highly recommend you grab a copy. ese books are hot o the press and available to buy today online at LMWBooks.co.uk for £4.99 plus postage or Etsy.com for £5.99 plus postage or alternatively they can be picked up from e Herald o ce, 2 High Street, Hythe; e Greenwood Tree, Lyndhurst; Lyndhurst Tea rooms; Peggy May’s, Lyndhurst; Budgens, Lyndhurst; Co-op, Ashurst and Marchwood and Queensmead, Beaulieu.
