Rotary Makes A Difference e last fundraising event organised by Hythe and Waterside Rotary prior to the current pandemic restrictions, was a very successful dance evening with local group e Dodgy Jammers. e money raised for the Hythe and Waterside Cancer Support Centre was most appreciated. A letter to the club from Wessex Cancer reads “We can’t say thank you enough! Thank you for your recent generous donation of £500, we truly appreciate your support. Without the bands generous free performance this event would not have been able to raise such an incredible amount. Thank you all so much for supporting our Waterside Cancer Support Centre. Every penny makes a Dancers enjoying the evening difference, and allows us to continue supporting local families affected by cancer.” On the night there was dancing to 60’s and 70’s music as well as a hot supper in the interval.
