Paul Brogan was a likeable young man who lost a short yet brave ght with cancer in 2012. As well as growing up with many of the players, he was also a keen and talented golfer. e huge success of this event raised over a staggering 11k all going to the fantastic Waterside Cancer Support Centre in Hythe. Over the last 18 months their fundraising has been impacted massively so this was desperately needed. So far from the last 9 golf days alone they have raised over a whopping £56,000! e majority of which has been donated to the Waterside Cancer Support Centre at the Grove in Hythe. is was chosen as their main charity, not only because of the great work they do there helping and supporting cancer su erers and their families but also because of Paul Brogan and his tragic illness. A massive well done to the overall winner Scott Nicholas and SO45 Online would like to thank all golfers for turning up on the day, purchasing ra e tickets, bidding on auction prizes, and of course McIlwraith General Builders. ank you to trophy sponsors which were WH Smith Local, Jim Harman, e Scratch Project, e CARopractor, Oyster Financial Planning and New Forest Tiling.
