Roy received a Seal of Merit for another of his images. Second place went to ‘Point of Sale’ by Keith Rose LRPS. Keith also took third place for ‘Morning Mist in Tuscany’ and received Seals of Merit for two other images. Further Seals of Merit were awarded to Margaret Cooper and Terry Jamieson. In the primary print category, Mike Cox took rst place with ‘European Roller’ which the judge described as a “cracking natural history shot”. Mike received a Seal of Merit for another of his images. Second and third places went to Martin Bowles for ‘Back to the Future’ and ‘Sail Trainer’ respectively and Martin received a Seal of Merit for another of his photographs. Another Seal of Merit was awarded to Lizzie Dutfield for one of her images. Two weeks later the Projected Digital Image (or PDI) of the Year competition was held and ‘Pied Bush Chat’ by Lynn Lambeth CPAGB, APAGB was awarded the trophy in the advanced category. Jim Pascoe was the judge for the PDIs and he said it was a lovely image. Brian Whittaker was awarded second place for ‘Blue Lamp in the Rain’ and third place went to Harry Borgerson for ‘Red Tulip’. Seals of Merit for other images were awarded to Margaret Cooper, Keith Rose, Pete Robertson, Philip Clewer and Stephen Cooper. In the primary PDI category, Louise Sampson took rst place with ‘Buzzing Around’, a great natural history photograph. Louise also took second place with ‘Heron on Lake Naivasha’. Martin Bowles came third with ‘A Walk rough the Cloisters’ and was awarded a Seal of Merit for another of his images. Another Seal of Merit was awarded to Douglas Marsh for one of his photographs. View nders will start its new year in September. e club meets most Tuesdays at the Jubilee Hall, New Road, Timsbury and new members, regardless of photographic experience, are always welcome.
