As they say, ‘It takes a village’.” Continued from page 10 11th SO45 Charity Golf Day Raises Another £10K for Waterside Cancer Support Centre DRAGON BOATS RETURN TO HYTHE IN SEPTEMBER e Abby’s Heroes Dragon Boat Race is returning to Hythe Marina on Saturday 9th September. ere will be around 10 teams taking to the water this year, competing in a number of races throughout the day. As well as the exciting races, there will be local food stalls available to keep you sustained for a fabulous day out for all the family. All proceeds from the day will go towards supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer, and their families. Last year’s event raised over £12,000 for the Charity and they are hoping this year’s event will raise even more money.
