It will be at the Hounsdown Community Centre, Totton on Wednesday 25th October between 3pm and 5pm. Over 70 Scarecrows will be part of this year’s trail around the New Forest village. Maps can be purchased for £2 from Southern Co-Op on Lyndhurst High Street. Money raised from the trail will go to two local charities: Michael and All Angels Infant School PTA and Lyndhurst Preschool. Vote for your favourite scarecrow for the ‘Best in Show’. To join in the fun, pop into Jane Bidwell Flowers, Harvey’s or Toys Ahoy to buy your trail bag and map from 13th October. On Saturday 28th October bring your trail bags down to Hythe between 3.30pm and 6.30pm (quiet time 5.30pm to 6.30pm); follow the map inside ticking o all the shops enroute and collecting a treat to pop in your bag from each along the way!
