Waterside & Totton Good Neighbours and Befriending Service The Waterside & Totton Good Neighbours and Befriending comes under the umbrella of Age Concern New Forest. e service o ers local people neighbourly help with a wide range of basic tasks that can make a huge di erence to an older person who is otherwise vulnerable or socially isolated. With their small team of volunteers they support and help to enable and maintain independence. If you are living in the Waterside & Totton area and you need help with small tasks such as: shopping, basic gardening, help to read or write letters, small practical tasks, collecting prescriptions, medical appointments, please contact Co-ordinator Dorothy Haden on: 023 8084 3676 or email: wgn@ ageconcernnewforest.org.uk for more information. e Befriending Service can also partner you with a volunteer who will visit you for a cup of tea and a chat, o ering friendship and company. Hythe Huddle, the drop in support group for people living with dementia and their carers, organised by Families Matter, meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm at Cornerstone URC, Hythe SO45 6BR.
