I moved to Oxford in 2006 to attend university to become an osteopath and ran a successful clinic in Oxfordshire o ering pain and injury rehab, as well as sport-speci c functional strength training. at is until having my daughter 9 months ago and I then decided that I wanted to be back home in the New Forest to raise our growing family. Upon moving home I looked for a circuits strength class to attend, which I had enjoyed when I was in my 20s, but discovered that this class no longer existed. I felt that there was a gap in the market and that I had a lot to o er my hometown, and so I decided to start a circuits exercise class at Noadswood School, where I once attended as a student and my father, Brian Pain, was once the Deputy Head. I have a decade of experience working with an extensive patient list consisting of GB and Olympic athletes, TV and Film stars, sports teams and the general public. My husband, Conor, has two degrees in injury rehabilitation and exercise physiology. Together, we o er a fun, e ective and varied exercise class, which aims to educate and challenge people of all levels of tness and all ages (over 18). My father, who is 73, attends and he participates in all the same activities as the very t men and women in their 20s who also attend. We love that we can deliver an inclusive class, which is adaptable for everyone. We can adjust movements to accommodate existing injuries, and even help to rehabilitate them in some cases. Classes are £8.50 and are held in Noadswood School Sports Hall, Wednesdays at 6.10pm. Places are booked online at: bodyfitcircuits.simplybook.it/ v2/ and you can read more about the classes there.
