If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, why not visit the New Forest Volunteer Fair? e ever-popular event is back on 28th January, and is taking place between 10.30am-4pm at Brockenhurst Village Hall. It’s free and you can just turn up on the day, browse the stands and nd out more about the fantastic opportunities on o er. Last year the Fair was held in-person for the rst time in three years and attracted more than 920 budding volunteers – the largest number in the event’s 13-year history. Fair organiser Jim Mitchell, from the New Forest National Park Authority, said: “We’re pleased to be able to host the Fair again this year. It brings people together in a lovely atmosphere to talk about exciting things to do in the National Park and surrounding area. Different people have their own reasons for volunteering, and every volunteer has their own story to tell about New Forest Volunteer Fair 2023 what they have gained from volunteering and what they have given to the Forest. Volunteers often tell me how much they enjoy volunteering and that it makes them happy to be out there helping the New Forest and its communities.
