Donations can be taken along to the stall on the day of the sales or alternatively you can call 0344 963 2463 to arrange for a collection to be made. Totton Repair Café is running on Saturday 9th December, 10.30am to 1pm at Totton & Eling Community Centre. e aim of the Totton Repair Café is to try and prevent small household goods from going to land ll if they stop working. You can take along small electrical or other items too good for the tip, you can sit and help/observe with any repair and refreshments are available while you wait for a small charge. It’s also an opportunity to nd out more about the Repair Café and Men’s Shed. A er your repair is completed all they ask for is a voluntary donation towards the cost of the hall and insurance. Bird Aware Ranger Walk Go along to Lepe Country Park on Saturday 9th December at 1pm and discover the o en-hidden world of overwintering waders, ducks and geese who must not only survive the winter here but ensure they stock up on enough food to complete long migrations. You will learn to identify these birds, nd out about their ecology and migration, and learn how we can help them thrive. is walk is intended for anyone who loves spending time on the coast; you do not need to know anything about birds. e walk is on uneven ground and sand so please wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for the weather.
