Hythe Pier Heritage Association (HPHA) has announced the dates for its premier fundraiser events in 2024. Rock the Pier will be staged on Saturday 15th June and Heritage Day on Saturday 24th August. ese events have become features in the Hythe and Waterside social calendar, raising valuable funds for the Association’s project of restoring Hythe Pier, its associated buildings and its iconic pier railway to former glories. e 2023 Rock the Pier musical festival raised in excess of £9,000 whilst Heritage Day brought in a further £3,000. ese events require a considerable outlay to put on and a commitment from a large team of volunteers.
