Age Concern Hampshire have launched a new initiative to provide a ordable day care packages, as a cost-e ective alternative to families seeking fulltime residential care for their loved ones. Delivered from their Care and Wellbeing Centres, the day care packages o er clients the opportunity to enjoy substantial discounts when they attend multiple days each week. is makes it a more accessible, practical and a ordable option for carers, enabling loved ones to stay at home for longer and alleviates the nancial and emotional strain. Full-time residential care can be an expensive option for many families, making nding a quality and a ordable care option very di cult. Age Concern Hampshire aims to bridge this gap by o ering a coste ective solution that ensures older people receive the care they need whilst easing the nancial strain on families. A ordable package pricing means the more days attended, the more signi cant the saving. Entrusting a loved one into our care can be a hard decision for family and loved ones, our Care and Forget-me-not Singing Club is a fun and friendly singing club for people living with dementia. e club is led by folk singer-songwriter and Natural Voice trained choir leader, Amy Hopwood and runs on Fridays from 2pm to 3.30pm at Brockenhurst Methodist Church Hall, Avenue Road, Brockenhurst, SO42 7RT. e club is aimed at people living with dementia and their friends, relatives and carers, but anyone else who just fancies a good sing is very welcome to join too. Each session is £3 per person including free tea/ co ee and biscuits.
