All activities take place in the Green Room at the Plaza eatre in Romsey, SO51 8JA, on a Friday morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Anyone with a Dementia is welcome to go along with their relative/carer. Where appropriate, activities can be adapted for any stage of Dementia or ability. Limited parking is available behind the eatre, and entry is by the side door, up the ramp. A £4 charge per person covers all activities and tea/co ee - rst ‘Arts & Cra s’ session is free, so you can nd out if it is a suitable activity. Evergreen Club for Over 60’s Spreading the Christmas Cheer at Snowdrop Place ere was huge excitement at Snowdrop Place as Santa unexpectedly came by to visit the residents ahead of their big night delivering a delightful Christmas tree for the residents and a luxury hamper for the charity light switch on ra e prize. Sta and residents at Barchester’s Snowdrop Place care home, in Hedge End, had a wonderful time. General Manager, Monika Zytowiecka said: “We had the best time with Santa unexpectedly arriving” Joan, resident at Snowdrop Place said: “It was so lovely to see Santa arrive with a real Christmas tree, even though he playfully disrupted our musical actively whilst having photos taken with us. He even cheekily paid a flying visit to our hair salon to freshen up before he set off on his way again.” e varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
