For many students January signals the start of serious studying and revision for this year’s GCSE and A level exams. Following the autumn mock exams, it’s not uncommon for some to nd the results falling short of expectations, creating a real need for targeted assistance to bridge the gap. Whilst for some students these issues may arise in one particular subject, others may experience di culties with studying and revision itself across a number of subjects. With only 3-4 months le until the exams, the amount of revision required may feel overwhelming, and students may feel unsure about when to start, how to organise and plan it, and how best to ensure that what they are revising now will still be in their head in May. One thing is clear: Simply re-reading what is in your books isn’t going to be e ective. But what IS the best way to learn?
