HPHA is keen to continue its restoration of Hythe’s Grade II listed Victorian pier and iconic electric narrow-gauge railway but needs further support in donations that can be made via its website: www. hythepierha.org.uk Hannah Helps HPHA Hannah Howley has been providing co ee for ferry travellers and the public alike at Hythe Pier since early November. Each co ee bought earns Hythe Pier Heritage Association (HPHA) a donation towards its aim of restoring Hythe Pier and its railway. Hannah explains: “As a lover of history, I enjoyed learning all about the Pier and Ferry itself when I moved here. I was keen to find some way of permanently helping the charity continue its work. I donated when I could but starting Howley Coffee Co has given me the chance to be able to donate on an almost daily basis!” Just before Christmas, Hannah was able to hand over £165 to Alan Titheridge, who received Hannah’s rst donation on behalf of HPHA.
