However, to conform with the colour applied on its restored train tractor and carriages, from January 2024 the organisation has adopted green for all its letter heading, email and website nomenclature. Research shows that the train carriages were painted green for much of the first four decades of their service on Hythe Pier, so when the time came to paint the first of the restored carriages, the decision was taken to adopt RAL 6005 Moss Green for the livery. HPHA Chairman explains: “This is the colour used on the carriages and other work we do. Further adopting of this colour will ‘cement’ our brand image.” Copythorne ‘CATS’ Spring Show ‘Play Safe’ Copythorne Amateur Theatrical Society’s (CATS) next production ‘Play Safe’ will be performed at Copythorne Parish Hall on 20th April at 7.30pm and 27th April at 2pm and 7pm. ‘Play Safe’ is a hilarious comedy revolving around the combination to a safe - supposedly hidden in a retirement home for entertainers.
