It’s Easier Than You Think to Move Law Firms Advice from Jasper Vincent Solicitors Autumn is upon us - a season of change. As the nights begin to draw in and the leaves turn brown, people o en look inwards to consider their personal a airs. If you’ve set down deep roots and have a history of visiting a single law rm for advice, then now might well be the time to book an appointment to see them again. But why not have a fresh pair of eyes look at your a airs? As the saying goes, a change can be as good as a rest. ere are plenty of reasons why moving to greener pastures could be the breath of fresh air you need: • Simple, creative and cost e ective problem solving does o en come from an outside perspective; • Perhaps you just feel that a recent change of sta ng means you’ve lost a connection with a rm? • You might even save a little money on legal work - when was the last time you compared prices with local o erings? We hear many new clients tell us they had no idea how easy it could be to move their legal a airs from rm to rm. ey o en say they have been with another rm for so long that they felt awkward moving elsewhere or they feared it would cost them money to move rm. In fact, it is generally simple and cost-free to move everything rm to rm. Normally all you need to do it pass a basic ID check with your new solicitor, then sign a document known as a ‘Letter of Authority’. We would send it on your behalf to your previous rm and everything they hold for you is sent to us in a clean break. It couldn’t be easier and it saves you having to go there in person to collect everything yourself. Letters of Authority are fantastically useful. We never charge new clients for preparing them, undergoing the ID check and sending them out. For a free initial discussion about your legal a airs, come and speak to the team at Jasper Vincent Solicitors and embrace an easy, positive change with us this Autumn.
