Pirates Arrr set to take over Hythe Village once more following the success of the inaugural Pirate Day last year. e previously published date has been changed; the Pirate Day will now take place on Saturday 23rd August. Organised by Hythe Alive, this year’s Pirate Day will include even more swashbuckling fun. Pirates young and old are invited to join in the Pirate Parade from Hythe Marina to the village. Pirate Parade 2024 Pirate Stilt Walkers Hythe in Bloom e businesses in Hythe have been battling it out for this year’s Hythe in Bloom awards run by Hythe and Dibden Parish Council and Hythe Alive. Hythe and Dibden Parish Council have also lled the large planters throughout the village with beautiful owers for the summer including Geranium tango, Salvia Velocity, New Guinea sonic white, Pelargonium in dark red and snow and Lobelia in deep blue. Make sure to pop down to the see the village in full bloom!
