Armed Forces Day is a moment for re ection, appreciation, and unwavering support for the people who serve in our military - past, present, and future. A er a cloudy start to the day and a random burst of rain, the sun started to shine down on us as thousands of people descended onto Gang Warily Recreation Centre. Crowds got to enjoy live music throughout the day, Military charities, cra stalls, local businesses, y pass from a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spit re, Sioux helicopter from Historic Army Aircra Flight, Farm animals, Food stalls, Bar and Fun Fair. Fawley Show organised the Field Gun, Military Museum, Ferret Tank, History talks, Car show and sponsored Trucks. ey also provided the show on Friday evening and Sunday. e highlight of the day was the salute from a eld gun as the iconic Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spit re took three passes over the event, it took the crowds breath away! Special thanks to e Ministry of Defence and ExxonMobil Fawley for supporting the event. To all our stallholders and vendors for attending, and to the Spitfire fly pass (Credit: Tony Sinfield) sta and volunteers at Fawley Parish Council. Chairman of Fawley Parish Council Alan Alvey said: “It is such an honour to host this event and to give thanks to those that have served or are serving currently.
