Parking Scams If you see a payment QR code stuck up in any of the New Forest District Council (NFDC) pay and display car parks please report them to NFDC: www.newforest. gov.uk/contactus. NFDC do not use QR codes for parking payments. Their o cers check the ticket machines daily, and they’ve recently removed fake QR codes from some of their car parks. NFDC are aware of scammers placing these codes on ticket machines in other local authority areas on the south coast. All NFDC ticket machines (except Taddiford gap car park) accept coins. You also have the option to pay by card (contactless in every car park), pay on the RingGo app or ring the number shown on the ticket machine to speak to one of their operators. From Age Concern New Forest Age Concern New Forest (ACNF) would like to thank our Sunday Lunch client Frank Wood for growing and donating 250 tomato plants. ese plants were sold at our Black eld and Dibden Purlieu Charity Shops for £1 each in early May, Frank also sold some of the Tomato Plants from his house and donated an additional £142 from these sales. A fantastic grand total of £392 was raised for ACNF. The Austin A30/A35 Owners Club Southampton have chosen Age Concern New Forest as their charity of the year for 2025 and will spend the year fundraising for them. Two of their members Pete Devitt, Chairman and Chris Hobben Vice Chairman presented ACNF CEO Teresa Blakey with £460 which Teresa said: “We are so grateful for this amazing generosity and support”. She added “The money raised by Frank Wood and the Austin A30/35 Club will help to support the local services we provide for our local older people”.
