Sta from Barratt David Wilson Homes Southampton division rolled up their sleeves to give e Polygon School on Handel Terrace in Southampton a lick of paint. Armed with brushes and rollers, the team painted the exterior of the school to give it a fresh new look, adding to the renovation work the housebuilder funded earlier this year to the school’s e Morris House gym facility for its SEND pupils. Barratt has a company-wide commitment to support the communities it builds within and make a positive impact and last year, the Southampton division dedicated the equivalent of 60 full working days to volunteering. Headteacher Ben Penfold said: “The paintwork looks fantastic and has really made a difference – it’s been a great way to welcome back the pupils to the new term. I want our pupils to feel proud of their school environment and well-kept facilities play a big part in that.
