Recognising its leading space in the UK theme park landscape, the attraction also won gold awards for Best eme Park for Families and Best eme Park for Toddlers (large). e theme park also took home additional silver and bronze trophies in the national awards, recognising its outstanding o ering for guests of all ages across its ve themed worlds, spanning 140 acres of parkland. Lawrence added: “We’re excited to build on this success next year with the opening of our first inverting rollercoaster, Drakon, at the heart of our brand-new immersive world, Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, launching in May 2026. Barry lived in Ashurst but was known across the Forest - and well beyond - for his atmospheric marine, coastal and landscapes. He o en exhibited at the Royal Academy and was a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI), the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA) and the Society of Equestrian Artists (SEA). Barry’s family have a Memorial Exhibition running at the New Forest Heritage Centre in Lyndhurst until 12th October.
