It will be a great opportunity for nding those special Christmas gi s in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Visitors will be greeted in the Foyer by an “avenue” of stalls including Decorative Flower Arrangements, Christmas Gi s and Jewellery, a Bookstall and a stall displaying a variety of Paintings by local artists Peter and Mary York. Paintings from the Fayre have been very popular over the last couple of years both for presents and for hanging in the purchasers’ homes. ere’s opportunity for a refreshment break and chat with friends over a co ee/tea and mince pie available from the Foyer counter or in the Main Hall, where there’ll be several further stalls. ese will include Fancy Goods, Jigsaw Puzzles, Toys and Games, Cakes Bakes and Preserves, and Cra Goods. On the way to the Main Hall those with youngsters will no doubt be tempted to visit Father Christmas and his Elf in his Grotto. Also, upstairs there will be Games for Fun and Children’s Craft. Visitors who are at the Fayre at lunch time have not been forgotten, as light lunches of home-made soup or jacket potatoes plus a mince pie will be available for just £7 per person. Tempted? You can also take a break from the shopping whilst you are there and enjoy a hot drink and a bacon bap or slice of cake from the café run by volunteers from St John’s Church.
